THE KOREAN government is planning to create a Linux utopia, a place where open sauce flows freely and only Linux is used. The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) has revealed the scheme of building up the city and university to use as testing groups for open-source programs. Candidate cities and universities are to be selected by a government panel next week and the government will have made up its mind by late March. If selected, the city government and university will be have to install open-source software as a main operating infrastructure. More information Here. Go, Korea!
